A leadership development experience for Michigan’s emerging women leaders in technology, presented by the Michigan Council of Women in Technology (MCWT).

About the Program:

Technical expertise may opens the door to leadership, but today's technology leaders need more than technical excellence to make a lasting impact.  ELEVATE empowers women in technology to strengthen their leadership presence, expand their influence, and confidently lead within complex organizations.

Through interactive learning and practical application, participants develop the skills to build a strong leadership brand, navigate organizational dynamics, communicate business value, lead change, and influence decisions that drive meaningful outcomes. 

New for 2026! Elevate will be offered through three regional cohorts serving Southeast Michigan, Lansing, and Grand Rapids, providing participants with the opportunity to build meaningful connections with women technology leaders in their own communities while engaging in a statewide leadership network.

The program begins September 23, 2026, with cohorts meeting Wednesday evenings through October 28, 2026. The hybrid format includes in-person regional sessions on September 23 and October 7, virtual sessions on the remaining Wednesday evenings, and concludes with an in-person Capstone Celebration in the Lansing area on October 28, where participants will share their learnings.

ELEVATE will help participants:

• Strengthen their leadership presence and visibility.

• Build business and financial acumen to connect technical work to organizational value.

• Develop strategic communication and executive presence skills.

• Navigate organizational dynamics and influence without authority.

• Build meaningful relationships with mentors, peers, and other technology leaders.

This program goes beyond traditional leadership training by creating a community of peers who learn, grow, and support one another. Participants will have opportunities to engage in peer groups, connect with senior leaders, discuss real-world leadership scenarios, and build relationships that can continue long after the program ends.

$75 for MCWT Members, $175 for non-members (includes 1-year MCWT Membership)
