We are looking for volunteers for MCWT's 2025 SE Michigan Golf Classic.
This is MCWT's second biggest fundraiser of the summer and we could not achieve this without the help of our Volunteers!

If you would like to volunteer all day, please be sure to select the AM and PM session.

Golfer Check-In/Game Sales Volunteer
Volunteer Time: 7:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
Time: 3.5 hours total, 1 hour prep call the week prior to event
Volunteer Description: You'll welcome the golfers!  ðŸ“‹ðŸ˜ŠCheck‑In Volunteers are responsible for the efficient registration and welcome of golfers upon arrival.  Volunteers will answer any questions, review the day's itinerary and invite the golfers to participate in the game packages. There is some setup and teardown of the check-in area as well. Check-in training or prior experience with MCWT's check-in process at events is a plus.

Golf Cart Driver
Volunteer Times: Morning - 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Afternoon - 11:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Time: ~5 hours total, 1 hour prep call the week prior to event
Volunteer Description:
Keep the event moving! 🚗⛳The cart driver is responsible for transporting game volunteers and sponsors to their designated holes, coordinating restroom and lunch breaks for both sponsors and game volunteers.  They should familiarize themselves with course so they can assist where they are needed on the course.  Morning volunteer bring volunteers and sponsors to their designated holes while afternoon volunteers bring them back after their shift.  Please expect to assist with shift changes for volunteers (swapping morning and afternoon volunteers at their holes). Golf etiquette knowledge and golf cart driving experience are a plus.*

Game Volunteers
Volunteer Times: Morning - 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Afternoon - 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Time: 4-5 hours total
Volunteer Description: Get ready to bring the energy! 🎉Game Volunteers will be assigned to a specific course and hole, where they will host and manage the designated game activity. Responsibilities include explaining game rules to golfers, facilitating participation, and, when applicable, determining winners. Volunteers will also manage a cash envelope, as golfers may pay to participate in games at each hole. Some light setup and teardown of game materials may be required.

Floater
Volunteer Times:  Morning - 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Afternoon - 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Time: ~4-5 hours total
Volunteer Description: The volunteer will float as needed among the roles described above. They may help with setup, teardown, and fill in for various volunteer roles to assist others with lunches, breaks, etc. The ideal candidate is someone who can adapt to changing situations, stay flexible, and jump into different roles with ease.

Afternoon Help & Tear Down
Volunteer Time: 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Time: ~3 hours total.
Volunteer Description:
The volunteer will assist with our Friends of MCWT appeal during the cocktail and dinner hour. They will also help with the teardown of the event, including dismantling setups, collecting signage, and packing the van, among other tasks.
